In an attempt to reduce the number of undesirable registrations we have tightened up the registration procedure so that new users have to activate their account through clicking on an e-mail link before they can post.

If this does not work, we can go one stage further and require admin approval of new users before they can post, but we want to keep things as simple as possible.

Edit (10 Aug 09) - Spam registrations are still getting through; so the admin approval has now been activated. Apologies to any new genuine users, but we will review registrations on a daily basis whenever possible in order to keep delays to a minimum.
